Background and Introduction

AQUITY Innovations NPC has been appointed by the National Department of Health to serve as one of the GLOBAL FUND TB Sub-Recipients (SRs) in South Africa. The project activities are implemented in Mpumalanga (Ehlanzeni district) and Eastern Cape provinces (OR Tambo, Amathole District and Buffalo City Metro districts). However, the service provider will be required to deliver services in a much wider area. Amongst other objectives, the program seeks to improve TB testing at community level.

AQUITY Innovations NPC, through this grant, seeks to appoint a service provider to design, layout, print and deliver Information Education and Communication (IEC) Material and Clinical Stationery.  These include amongst others, such as information leaflets and Standard Operating Procedures. The applicable Terms of Reference (TOR) are stipulated under reference AQUITY /NDOH 11 /2022 -2025 available on the website. The successful service provider shall deliver the required goods in line with high quality standards and shall follow all applications and directives as indicated in the TOR.

It is the responsibility of each supplier to ensure that complete documents are submitted on or before the closing date and time. No late submissions will be accepted.

A careful consideration should be placed on the mandatory section as any deviation will result in the bid being disqualified.

Non compulsory Briefing:

Registration for virtual tender briefing should be done through the link provided on website before the end of day on the 27 September 2024 16:00Hrs. A non-compulsory briefing session will be done on the 2^nd October 2024 at 10 am.  Details of this meeting will be supplied to bidders registered on this form. The briefing meeting is not mandatory for submission of the tender. All questions should be sent to tenders@aquity.org before the 27 of September 2024.

Submission Instructions:

Please refer to the detailed Terms of Reference. Due to load shedding and other potential delays, the onus for prompt submission rests with the bidders. No late submissions will be accepted.

2. Suggested Sample GF CoC Cover letter. Please place this on own Company letterhead.

3. Bidders are reminded to clearly include a  detailed cost breakdown of their bids. This should options they recommending for consideration. This will be used for price evaluations.
