PROCUREMENT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) TO THE NATIONAL DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on the 11 March 2020. The outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly spread across the globe and threatens to reverse the gains achieved in the fight against HIV, TB, and malaria diseases. Through the COVID-19 Response Mechanism, the Global Fund has approved funding to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This has informed the decision by the Global Fund Cluster within NDoH to procure PPE through three sub recipients (SR’s) under the NDoH namely; AQUITY Innovations, Isibani Development Partners and TB HIV Care. The PPE will be delivered to a central warehouse (Gauteng) to act as buffer stock for national relief.

The National Department of Health (NDOH) has appointed AQUITY Innovations NPC, to advertise the tender on its behalf. All communication pertaining to the tender will be handled by AQUITY Innovations together with the appointed Tender Evaluation Committee.
